Northern Lights, the most Silent Storms ever heard

blank

Primarily filmed in Tromsø, the ninth-largest city in Norway, this video from Ole C. Salomonsen captures the auroras as they dance across the skies during these three seasons.

Every year, bursts of solar winds from the Sun react with the Earth’s atmosphere and cause the geomagnetic storms producing what is known as the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).

Filmed in Norway, Finland and Sweden, this video shows an exhilarating panorama of a low lying hazy Sun, snow-laden hills, star trails and delicate colours and is a compilation of the aurora night skies between autumn, winter and spring over Scandinavia.
