Discover the world’s most liveable city: Melbourne

blank

After being nominated as the world’s most liveable city for the fourth year in a row, Melbourne receives a magic gift by photographer Daniel Johnson.

For the past five months I have been exploring the city once a week (when the weather was co-operating) to capture all these scenes. I wanted to present the parts of Melbourne that stood out to me and bring life to the images using time-lapse photography.

Well over 20,000 images were shot to create such an amazing video, which was deflickered using Gunther’s LRTimelapse software.

Many hours walking through-out the city carrying heavy camera equipment, and countless hours in editing time (thrashing my 13inch Macbook pro to its limits), were spent just to make this project come together. I have never worked so hard on a project & I’m extremely proud of what I have made. I really do hope you enjoy the video.
