Professional photographer Alexandre Sattler from gaia-images.com has created a relaxing time-lapse video which portrays the beauty of a land which still hosts over 2,200 Buddhist temples and pagodas: Bagan
Bagan is an ancient city located in the Mandalay Region of Burma (Myanmar).
In the 11th and 13th centuries over 10,000 Buddhist temples, pagodas and monasteries were constructed in the Bagan plains alone. Today, “only” 2,200 temples and pagodas still survive.
