This Ultra-HD-time-lapse movie features the unique and spectacular play of clouds, the magnificent landscape and the breathtaking night sky on the Canarian volcanic island of La Palma.
Jörg Niggli shared with us the following details on his video, which was shot on a Sony A7s and polished using LRTimelapse:
It starts with the clouds racing across the sea – by day and by moonlight. It is a steady flow that carries the clouds to the steep flanks of the island. The spectacle is also unique from the height of the observatory on the Roque de los Muchachos, overlooking the clouds. Another fantastic view is offered from Los Llanos: In the middle of the island the clouds are jammed on the slopes and pressed by the wind over the long mountain edge, to be seen in the video under a clear starry sky.
