The microworld told in timelapse

blank

Dipolis timelapse is a time-lapse video, with rich sequences that we can hardly see on this site: the microcosm.

We asked the author, Basil Triantafyllidis, to tell us something of the clip.

Filmed in Greece for passion, Dipolis tells us about the life of “micro-creatures” during the summer, with a Handycam shooting initially, and then with a Canon 550D with Magic Lantern.
The location of the clip is Lemnos (Dipolis fact that in ancient greek) and its surroundings.

The major difficulty, Basil tells us, was that the insect – being in captivity – they were very difficult to capture and filmed from very close.

A collage that collects videos of 2005, and recent shooting in digital HD, which we suggest you watch.
