Drowned Forest Exposed: a Liesel Kershoff time-lapse

This video shows the before and after effect of a drought on a landscape and also the beauty of a drowned forest rising from it’s watery grave for the first time in 40 years.

Liesel Kershoff shared with us the following details on his video:

My goal with this video was to bring the effect of the current drought situation in the Western Cape Province into homes, ultimately to convince people to save water, but also to document a landscape which may not be seen again ever.
This forest has been submerged in water for 40 years now and will soon start to rot and break apart
