Namibia is one of the least densely populated countries in the world with negligible light pollution and skies which are clear over 300 days in a year.
Add to that the spectacular landscape on view and it becomes an ideal destination for nightscape photography.
vikas chander shared with us the following details on his video:
In September of 2018, i spent 12 nights under the dark skies of Namibia, drove about 4500 kms and camped under the star studded skies. Locations such as Solitaire, DeadVlei, the NamibRand, Aus, Quiver tree forest, Spitzkoppe, the Skeleton Coast and the Hess Observatory were visited, and in the end i came away with apx. 25000 images and 2 terabytes of data.
That now culminates into… Heavens on Earth – Namibia.
