Unesco World Heritage Site in 1985 is a daily destination for tourists from around the world.
It was used as a film set for several films ("Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," "Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen"), and now also the subject of a beautiful timelapse video, made by the Swiss photographer Joerg Niggli.
The shooting prompted three days of work. Well spent, right?
