An amazing 2-month adventure hiking through his mountains, shooting 25,000 images for a huge time-lapse project now ready for our eager eyes.
I hiked through my mountains for two months, sleeping 12 times in bivouaks, huts, and tents to capture the majestic beauty of nature. I shot over 25000 pictures, more than 50 timelapse sequences, almost 1TB of Raw Files. It took me more than 100 hours of post-production to make this film: editing the sequences, searching for the music and editing the video is a really long work.
Camping in the mountains is an amazing experience: you can hear the breath of the mountain, you feel part of something bigger.
The stars, the trees, the streams: only nature is surrounding you. Everyone should try, at least once in life, to wake up at sunrise on the top of a mountain, waiting for the sun to come up, and experience the supeme silence of wilderness. Maybe it could change the way we look at our crazy society!
This kind of feelings reward me for all the efforts I make to get to the locations: I carried a 20kg rucksack containing my camera (Nikon D7000), tipods, controllers, food, clothes, tent, and of course my ShooTools Slider One 150 Motion Plus.
