Kvarner Bay in the Adriatic Basin is home to Rijeka in Croatia, a seaport with a thriving shipbuilding economy. This video takes you on a wild ride in time-lapse and hyper-lapse around Rijeka, exhibiting the waterways, busy streets and contrasting terrain.
The picturesque bay is surrounded by classical monuments and buildings. A view from the Trsat Castle offers a contrasting view of bushy hills, city dwellings and high rises, with a backdrop of the Croatian Coast and mountains. Boats on the bay and rugged pebble beaches at sunset makes a great introduction to this city.
