Matthew Vandeputte, now we know him well. His Showreel 2013, however, in addition to being a great video, it adds a complexity that so far it seems that you have not seen it yet!
At the minute 1’06”, a series of sequences of star-trails (Learn how to achieve one star trails in a few minutes) spiral are shown in all its beauty. This effect is obtained with a post-production rather challenging and longest of its kind.
Even the well-known Sean Parker astrophotographer has confirmed that this technique of Matthew , obtained during shooting physically going to zoom in during the shots themselves, has not been in his memory still used in video timelapse.
