Eric has certainly not been spared in this year and a half, during which he took thousands of photographs to create gorgeous hyper-lapse of his city.
As only a true freak of statistics can do, he has collected all the most important info during the shooting, and posted them on Vimeo. Some are really interesting:
208.9 hours of shooting / driving / set up time
40 hours of edit time roughly
79 hours color correcting
20 hours on final exports
10 hours figuring out analytics
357.9 hours spent on video
The final product is really accurate, perhaps a bit too long for a time-lapse of this type. All sequences were in fact well optimised in LRTimelapse and stabilized in post-production.
