Solar eclipse timelapse: Help on settings

New time-lapser
Hello All,

I am by no means any sort of professional or planning to be any type of camera guru. However, I have been tasked with setting up a camera to time lapse the whole day of the solar eclipse for my bosses personal wants/needs.

I really dont know where to start, but I have the parameters to give to you guys/gals to assist with hopefully pointing me in the right direction.

- Camera or Video Camera must be of at least 1080p to 4K quality
- Must be able to be tripod compatible
- Must be able to shoot the whole day from 7 am to 7pm or longer with out replacing batteries or down time
- Budget must be around $1000 to $1500 for camera and all equipment to be involved

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
