A budget slider to use with Alpine Labs Radian

Swan Messiah

New time-lapser
Hey folks, I'm looking at getting a non-expensive slider that will play nice with my Alpine Labs Radian. Any suggestions/pitfalls I should look out for? Are they all stepped sliders or are some just on a slow, continuous dolly? Cheers.

From a friend on Facebook:

You are looking for an inexpensive slider? Make one using an IGUS slider and a RC servo. There are plans on the Internet. Cost would be under $200US.

Take the new adaptor from Alpine Labs and the buget slider that is supported.
